John Roberto serves as the leader of LRA’s Quality Assurance Group and also is a member of the firm’s Management Committee. John is a spirited and highly creative individual who has played a key role in helping design and develop many of LRA’s innovative quality assurance, mystery shopping, inspection and auditing programs. John has also been heavily involved in implementing a number of leading-edge consumer and customer satisfaction research projects for LRA, many of which embrace the company’s Web-enabled survey technology. He also is responsible for managing a number of major client relationships in the hospitality and leisure, sports and entertainment and food services industries; as the EVP of the Quality Assurance Group, John oversees all QA projects, coordinating the activities of 45-plus hospitality consultants operating in more than 70 countries worldwide. John also helps direct the company’s activities in international markets. Now in his eighth year with LRA, John actively participates in business development activities as well.

John joined LRA after a fifteen-year career in the hospitality industry with Stouffer Hotels, Four Seasons Hotels and a luxury independent property represented by Preferred Hotels and Resorts. His hospitality background includes assignments in urban centers, suburban, and airport markets throughout the United States and involved executive positions in the Rooms Division, Front Office and Sales management. In addition, John has been the project manager for hotel computer system installations and upgrades, and was twice elected as a member of an Advisory Board for a Hospitality Software Company.

John is a graduate of Dickinson College. In 1990, he was invited and served as the Housing Manager for the Goodwill Games, an International Sporting Event and prior to joining LRA managed the convention reservation-housing program for the City of Philadelphia.
